Chef Matt Matheson's Vine and Garden is  full service catering  serving  Bowen Island and Vancouver.  From small to large, intimate to casual, my team and I have a reputation  for innovative and seamless events.  We feel very privileged being able to make people happy with the food and service we supply. 

My  menus have a strong focus on locally grown food that I grow a large portion of myself and gather personally from local farms around Bowen Island. This gives the food a story and sense of place. My passion and purpose is in sharing that story with others through my cooking.  

My connection with food and where it comes from has always been a strong part of my life. Childhood memories of picking wild strawberries, waking up to the smell of crispy butter fried crepes , afternoon naps behind the counter of the Scandinavian deli my mom owned, the constant clanking of canning jars on the kitchen counter, these are the memories that have shaped who I am and what Vine and Garden is.
